I have a scanned PDF file which has been OCR'd. The text is hidden behind the image for search capability. When I edit the PDF file (find & replace) in Infix or Infix Pro the hidden text is displayed alongwith the image.

I tried to attach a sample PDF file. But I get a "Upload Error". The upload
tool expects gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp.

I am evaluating the software and I intend to purchase it if this issue is resolved.

Thank you for the example PDF.

When it goes into editing mode, Infix changes the render mode on the hidden text which makes it visible. Unfortunately it does not restore this mode nor does it allow you to create invisible text (by setting no fill or stroke).
Hence, Infix will correctly search your document but will not be useful for editing it.

If we allow the option to create invisible objects, we feel it could lead to confusion with people losing objects and not understanding why.
