infix

A problem I seem to have repeatedly, across versions of Infix, is that I'll edit a text block in one place on a page and then another unrelated text block somewhere else on the page will reflow. Usually I find out about it because it creates an Overset Text error on saving. I greatly fear it may also happen without my ever realizing it - just screwing up some text layout deep in a large document where I'll never see it without spending huge amounts of proofreading time.

I can't find any connection between the unexpected reflow and the text I intended to change - typically they're not even the same font.

This causes no end of grief with some highly formatted documents I edit. These are documents supplied to me by others. I suspect they're originally created in Quark or some such publishing package, then output to PDF.

How does this happen?
